Hit the Streets Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving individuals, youth, and families across Cuyahoga County, with a primary focus on Cleveland, East Cleveland, and Euclid, Ohio. Our work has evolved from emergency response into a comprehensive model that combines immediate relief, long term support, and community development.
We provide critical assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship, crisis, or transition, while also offering structured pathways toward stability, self sufficiency, and personal growth. Our programs are designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they move forward.
Our core areas of work include:
• Feed the Streets Outreach Initiative
Mobile and community based outreach providing food, essential items, and seasonal support such as coat and shoe distributions, with a strong focus on dignity and relationship building.
• Second Chance Self Sufficiency Program
Long term support for individuals overcoming barriers related to reentry, housing instability, employment challenges, and life transitions. This includes goal setting, resource navigation, and ongoing encouragement.
• Community Integration Program (Medicaid Waiver Approved)
Supportive services that help individuals build independence, social connection, and daily living skills through structured community based engagement.
• Youth Development and Leadership Initiatives
Through our Game Changers Youth Initiative, including the Future Founders Program, we support youth in building confidence, leadership skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Volunteers play a vital role in helping us carry out this mission. Whether supporting outreach efforts, youth programs, administrative operations, event support, or community engagement, volunteers are an extension of our values and impact.
