• 10th Annual Hog Drop BBQ Competition Teams Registration

  • We're thrilled to announce that the Annual Hog Drop BBQ Showdown is now officially a JACK qualifier State Championship sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society and will take  place on New Year’s Eve in Unadilla, Georgia! 

      

    The contest will be a Master Series and teams will compete in (4) categories (Chicken, Ribs, Pork & Brisket) onThursday, December 31st 2026 for a purse of $17,500 in cash and a chance to enter in a draw for the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue!

    *We are required to file 1099 forms with the Internal Revenue Service for the 2026 tax year for all teams receiving more than $600 in cash/prizes.  Each team will be required to complete the W-9 forms prior to receiving funds

      * Entry fee must be received in full before your team is officially accepted as a competitor
      * This is a rain-or-shine event. Entry fees are non-refundable

    This unique contest and New Year’s celebration promises to be an unforgettable event, offering not only a chance to compete against the best but also an opportunity to celebrate with fellow pitmasters and friends.

     * Entry Fees = $500
     * Entry is based on first-come, first serve basis
     * Entry fee must be received in full before your team is officially accepted as a competitor
     * This is a rain-or-shine event. Entry fees are non-refundable
     * Electricity will NOT be provided in this contest. Teams are required to bring generators
     * Water stations will be available to fill up your tank if needed. 
     * Teams shall only compete within a single BBQ organization at the Hog
        Drop BBQ Showdown (No double dipping!). By submitting this form, you certify that
        your team and its members/asociates are competing exclusively in KCBS-hosted
        contests during this event. Neglecting this rule will result in disqualification from the
        KCBS contest.
      * Submitting this registration form is an application only and does not
         guarantee entry to the contest. Due to limited space, applications will be reviewed
         on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected teams will receive a follow-up email with
         payment instructions to complete their registration and beingh officially confirmed,
         while remaining teams will be placed on our waitlist.

    * Photographs, videos, motion pictures, recordings or other records of this event shall be
       stricly for personal use. Commercial filming, advertising videography, context
       creation, vlogging and unauthorized media production are strictly prohibited.

    The Hog Drop organizers reserve the right to reject any application. By selecting “I agree” below I agree to release and forever discharge the Hog Drop, its organizers, Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) and its representatives, the city of Unadilla GA and its officials, Dooly County and its officials, sponsors and volunteers associated with this event from ANY AND ALL claims, damages, losses, demands, costs, expenses (including attorney’s fees and costs), obligations, liabilities, liens, suites, actions and causes of actions, arising from any loss, damage or injury including but not limited to those caused by any negligence or omissions of the above mentioned individuals and entities  in relation to my participation in or attendance at the Hog Drop event. I hereby forever wave any and all rights and claims for myself and my heirs in consideration of my participation in or attendance at the Hog Drop event.
    I grant full permission to the KCBS event organizers to use any photographs, videos, motion pictures, recordings or other records of this event for any purpose. I agree to abide by the rules, and regulations of the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the Hog Drop organization, the City of Unadilla GA and Dooly County.
