WAIVER, RELEASE, AND INDEMINITY AGREEMENT
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the opportunity afforded me to participate and or the opportunity afforded to the business, person, or other entity (for whom I am duly authorized to act) to participate in the Holidays in the Vue Parade on the 6th day of December 2025, (hereinafter event) the undersigned acting on my own behalf or as a duly authorized agent for the participant do hereby jointly, severally, and unconditionally release and waive any and all rights the participant, its agents, employees, or officers may have against the Holidays in the Vue Parade, Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County Tennessee (hereinafter “Sponsors”), its agents, officers, employees, committees, volunteers and associated Parade sponsors from any and all damages, injuries, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever that may arise out of the participant's activities associated with the event on the above date.
The participant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsors for any and all damages, injuries, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of any acts or omissions of the participant, or the participant's agents, officers, or employees to any person including the participant, or the participant's agents, officers, or employees attending the event and to assume the costs and responsibility on behalf of the Sponsors for any suit, action, or proceeding brought as a result of any acts or omissions of the participant, or the participant's agents, officers, or employees to any person or the participant's agents, officers, or employees attending the event.
The participant further affirms that I have current automobile liability insurance in effect on any vehicles that will be in the Parade. I understand that I may not participate in this Parade with my vehicle if I do not have current insurance coverage.
The participant further covenants, represents, and acknowledges that the sponsor is relying on said representations, covenants, and acknowledgments and that said participant is bound by the full legal consequences of signing this agreement and that same is intended to be unconditional and governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
If any lawsuit or other proceeding arises out of the participant's activities at the event, this agreement shall be admissible as evidence in any court or other forum in which a claim or any other cause of action is heard.
