Hollis Crossings is a one week summer day camp hosted at Hollis Renewal Center in Bonner Springs. During each session campers are divided into groups (based on age) and given the opportnity to explore not only the hills of Hollis but new friendships, and the never ending love of God. Campers vary in gender and race, as well as economic circumstances. Our goal during our week together is to focus what binds us together as a people of God vs what divides us as a people on Earth.
During this week we require a lot of help. Both from our counselors, who are paid staff from Camp Tomah Shinga but also our youth volunteers. Your presence and energy is vital to making this week an experience our campers won't forget.
The following are basic rules/guidelines/expectations for all Hollis Crossings Volunteers. Please inital at the end of this to indicate you have read, and understand the guidelines.
**NOTE THE FOLLOWING**
In order to mitigate COVID exposure, all voluteers will be assigned a counselor and small group to work with for the duration of the week. Swapping groups will be probibited.
