HOPE® prepares and supports Latinas as civic leaders while providing inclusive leadership opportunities open to all who want to learn from the Latina perspective. We advance civic education, foster community leadership, and advocate for fair and informed policy solutions that expand opportunity for every community.

The Anniversary Awards Dinner is our annual gala recognizing the commitment of HOPE’s community partners and supporters. The support that HOPE receives from this fundraising event sustains our leadership programs and events, advocacy efforts, and influential research as we work to build political and economic power among Latinas all across the United States.

But none of this is possible without the hands and hearts of volunteers like you.

When you volunteer with HOPE, you're creating a space where hundreds of participants will feel seen, supported, and empowered to lead boldly. You are part of the change. Please complete this form if you'd like to volunteer at our upcoming Anniversary Awards Dinner on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Arrival and Set Up - 5:00 PM

• Set up signage and silent auction materials
• Prep for registration

Guest Registration and Wayfinding - 5:30 PM

• Greet guests and check them in
• Encourage guests to check out Silent Auction
• Answer basic questions and guide guests

Clean Up - 7:00-7:30 PM

• Condense registration materials
• Support staff with clean up

HOPE CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT FOR VOLUNTEERS

As a volunteer for HOPE, I understand that protecting sensitive and confidential information is essential to the organization and its mission.

I agree not to share any confidential information I may see or hear during the event, including attendee details, internal discussions, or any private materials. This applies during and after my time as a volunteer.

I understand that if I improperly disclose confidential information, I may be asked to leave my volunteer role and could face further action.

I acknowledge that volunteering at this event does not guarantee future opportunities with HOPE.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By voluntarily participating as a volunteer for HOPE, I confirm that the following shall apply:

• I have chosen to voluntarily participate in the activities/events listed above ("36th Anniversary Awards Dinner") by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality ("HOPE").
• I hereby indemnify, release, discharge, and hold harmless HOPE, and their respective successors, licensees, employees, officers, directors, agents, and assigns, from any and all claims, actions, costs, expenses, judgments, liabilities, damages, losses, and demands of any and every kind and character and under any and all theories of law or equity (including attorneys' fees), and from any and all liability for any loss of property, damage or personal injury of any kind, nature or description, that may arise or be sustained by me, or by any third party, during or related to my participation and attendance in the activities/events. This release will be binding upon my/our heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns.

My signing below I confirm I am 18 years or older, have read, understood, and voluntarily agree with the terms listed in this Waiver and Release and Confidentiality Agreement.
