Let's Talk About It Final Report

Fall/Winter 2024-2025 - This report is due by April 30, 2025
As a participant in the Let's Talk About It (LTAI), your library is required to complete and submit the following summary report. Your thoughtful responses will assist us in planning for future sessions, in providing the best support possible, and securing funding for future projects. Please share as many details as possible to help us evaluate this program both quantitatively and qualitatively. This report is your opportunity to provide the LTAI Team with feedback and let us know how your programs went. We hope you learned a few things and had fun along the way. We know we have!

Let’s Talk About It is funded by grants from both the Idaho Humanities Council (IHC), and the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). These grants require the the Idaho Commission for Libraries to document match of personnel time and meeting room space for participating libraries.

Meeting Room Match

Personnel Match
For program coordinator and library staff, or volunteers’ activities, include any time spent on program planning, outreach, and implementation i.e. room set up/clean up, and attending the programs. We estimate local libraries (staff and volunteers) will contribute an average of 6 hours per session.

Please be sure to track total contribution hours through timesheets and/or sign-in sheets. These recods could be asked for in grant reviews.

On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We are currently working on developing a theme to commemorate this historic event, and we plan to offer this new theme in the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 years. Do you have any book recommendations, or suggestions for this theme?
