    2026 My First Books Migrant Seasonal Head Start Application

    (Deadline: May 1, 2026)

     

    Each publicly-funded public library must have a Migrant Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) community partner who agrees to participate fully in the program for at least three months during June - October. School libraries, volunteer libraries, community libraries, academic libraries, and private libraries are not eligible for thie program.

    1) Please read the My First Books MSHS project description and requirements outlined on our My First Books MSHS website.

    2) Ask your MSHS partner to submit a Partner Form, located on the My First Books MSHS website. This form outlines the partner requirements of the program, and collects enrollment and contact information.

    3) Submit the application below.

  • Submission & Follow-Up

    After you select "Submit Form", you will automatically receive an email "Thank You" response verifying your submission, as well as an email with a copy of your submitted application for your records.

    We will be contacting you regarding your application in early May.
