We are holding our 18th annual Oktoberfest this year on September 12th-14th on the beautiful campus of St. Joseph Shrine in DeSales Park. We are an anchor property on Gratiot, across from the Eastern Market, with a 150 year history, looking forward to the next 150 years in Detroit! We draw 1000s of attendees who come to enjoy the German music, food, beer and Stein holding contests. It is a long-standing and beloved tradition in Detroit.
We are a thriving Catholic community which draws its members from counties all around Southeastern Michigan, Ohio and Canada! Our regular attendees come from as far North as Lapeer and St. Clair counties, as far East as Ingham County and South into Ohio as well as our Canadian neighbors who drive in from Ontario. Our members are homeschooling families, aspiring homesteaders, professionals and hard-working people from all around the Detroit area. We come from far and wide to share our faith and support one another.
As a growing community of almost 400 registered families, we have close to 1000 regular Sunday Mass attendees. We range in age from young Gen Z families and singles to loyal octogenarians who are long standing members! We can carry the message of your sponsored partnership with our beloved Shrine far and wide!
