• 2026 PK Staff & Cabin Leader Application

  • PK Retreat is a special weekend created just for the children of Illinois Assemblies of God Credentialed Ministers in grades 2 through 12. It gives PKs the rare chance to spend time together, build meaningful friendships, and be surrounded by others who understand the unique rhythms of ministry life. Cabin Leaders help make that possible. Your presence, encouragement, and example have a real impact.

    Whether you grew up as a PK yourself or simply love investing in the next generation, we would love to have you consider serving. You do not need to be perfect or have all the answers. A heart to serve, a willingness to reflect Christ well, and a desire to care for students goes a long way.

    Orientation and support will be provided, and you will serve as part of a team. You will not be alone in leading students. Orientation, prayer, and practical preparation help make this a meaningful and fun experience for everyone.

  • WHAT WE ASK OF LEADERS

  • To provide a safe and encouraging environment for every student, we ask Cabin Leaders and Staff to complete a few simple steps. These help us care well for PKs and make sure the experience is healthy for everyone involved.

  • REGISTRATION:

    PK Retreat cabin leaders & staff must have their completed application submitted to ISM no later than December 31, 2025. No phone registrations or partial registrations will be accepted.
  • RETREAT SCHEDULE:

    Cabin Leader Check-In is 2:30pm Saturday (Student Check-In is 3-5pm), Cabin Leader Orientation is at 4:15pm Saturday. PK Retreat concludes at 11am Monday, but staff is encouraged to stay to help with tear down if possible.
  • WHAT TO BRING:

    Sleeping bag or twin bed sheets, blanket, pillow, towel, recreational clothes (indoor and outdoor), toiletries, modest swimwear, Bible, spending money for snacks and camp store. Variety show preparation items. Please clearly label all items. PK’s are responsible for personal belongings. ISM is not responsible for lost/stolen items. Various clothing items, candy, & trinkets will available to purchase at the store.

  • If you are interested in one of the hoodies we provide for our older PKs, we can offer these to Cabin Leaders at our cost when registered by December 22nd. Please indicate your interest below. Once final pricing is confirmed, we will follow up with details and invoice you.

    Note: The kids sized sweatshirts will be slightly different, the below sweatshirt available in adult sizing only.
