  • Are you under 30 and want to establish & grow your own business?

    EnterpRISEing Youth+ is a FREE course for youth up to the age of 30 who are interested in launching or growing their own business.


    The program is an excellent opportunity to learn essential business and financial skills while developing the confidence required to run a successful business.


    We are recruiting participants to the program on an ongoing basis and the next cohort will START at the beginning of September 2020. It will run for a PERIOD of around 12 WEEKS (+ 4 weeks of catch-up buffer) and requires around 7 to 10 hours on a monthly basis (online materials & workshops).

    Requirements

    Applicants for this program should be able to fulfill ALL of the following characteristics (please contact us in case of any questions):

    • Be below the age of 30
    • Have a practical idea to start or grow your for-profit, social enterprise or small business (any size, either full or part-time/seasonal opportunities are welcome), and be looking to start this within the next six months.
    • Commit to attend all mandatory course sessions and submit all assignments.
    • Self-identify as having experienced anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress,
      anorexia, ADHD, autism spectrum, addiction, or similar challenges.
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee.

      The Rideau Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre is a multi-service, community-based resource centre which, next to the Youth Business Incubator programming, is offering a variety of other wrap-around services. These cover areas such as 1. Poverty Reduction (e.g. Emergency Food, Individual Counselling, Market Mobile, ...) 2. Children, youth and families (health checks, children playgroups, homework club, sports activities and skills development workshops, ...) 3. Community Support and Development (Crisis intervention, computer access, ...).
