Erika Wells was a beloved member who tragically passed away in October 2016. Her dedication to service, personal growth, social engagement, and an overall use of running as part of a healthy lifestyle and a way to help support community were unparalleled. Eligible candidates should exemplify these characteristics as well.

To be eligible, Class of 2026 graduates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Current resident of Marion County
- Enrollment in a college or university for Fall of 2026
- Involvement in the community, volunteerism or other service activities

Indy Runners and Walkers must receive all submissions and references by Friday, April 10, 2026 (no exceptions). The awards committee will review the applications and notify the scholarship award winners by the end of April. Awards will be presented shortly thereafter at one of our Saturday morning group runs in Broad Ripple.
