The ability to “step back” and look at the big picture allows the Kokondo leaders to apply concepts and principles that help open your eyes to new perspectives, new ideas that you can take back to your dojo.

In keeping with our tradition of specialized training, the 2025 Kokondo National Seminar will focus on the concept of SHUHARI - outlining the three stages of learning 1. Protecting or obeying the "form."  2. Breaking or detaching the "form" of basic.  3. Transcend and create your own approach, and adapt what you have ldearned.

Thank you for planning to attend the 2025 Kokondo National Martial Arts Seminar. This three-day conference which begins on Thursday evening July 24, 2025 continues to have a lasting impact and has become widely known for its friendly atmosphere, informative sessions and one-of-a-kind immersive training geared toward adult and younger students.

This year we are returning to The Hilton Garden Inn, 555 Corporate Drive Windsor CT minutes from Bradley International Airport and downtown Hartford.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE SEMINAR

The following pages will guide you through the on-line registration. The registration process is for each attendee and to register more than one attendee, complete the process each time.

Please note that the requested information is for the student attending the seminar and if you are signing-up your child, we ask that you don't include your name as the participant but include your child’s name along with YOUR contact details. This year we have a limited capacity, and we cannot guarantee your access. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

WAIVER REGISTRATION FORM

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2025 Kokondo National Martial Arts Seminar the undersigned, for himself/herself, his/her personal representative, assigns, heirs and next of kin: Hereby releases, waives discharges and covenants not to sue the 2025 Kokondo National Seminar, International Kokondo Association, LLC, House of Kokondo LLC, Jukido Jujutsu Dojo, instructors, promoters, sponsors, participants, officials, rescue personnel, advertisers, landowners, lessees, and permitees of the premises used to conduct the event and each of them and their respective directors, officers, agents, and employee and all others whether listed herein by name of category or neither, all for the purpose herein referred to as “Releases”, from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any and all loss of damage, and any claim or demands therefore, on account of injury to the personal or property of resulting death of the undersigned, arising of or related to the undersigned’s participation to the event, whether caused by the negligence of the Releases or otherwise. Hereby acknowledges the risk of serious injury and/or death of property damage from participating in the event. Each of the undersigned also expressly acknowledges that injuries received may be compounded or increased by negligent rescue operations or procedures of the Releases’, all of which are released and waived.

Herby acknowledges and agrees that he/she is fully aware of the risks an hazards in participating in the event and hereby elects voluntarily to enter upon said premises and to participate knowing the present condition and knowing that said condition may become more hazardous and dangerous during the time that the undersigned is upon said Premises. The undersigned also expressly acknowledges and agrees that he/she voluntarily assumes all risk of loss, damage and/or injury that may be sustained by him/her or to any property of the undersigned while in or upon premises.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND HAVE SIGNED IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, ASSURANCE OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME AND INTEND MY SIGNATURE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY THE LAW.
