This is a Call for Program Abstracts to be presented at the 2020 MSAWWA-MWEA Joint Conference which will be held in Great Falls, Montana. Abstracts are also being sought for the MSAWWA hosted Preconference which is titled Improved Efficiency Through Control Systems. The Preconference will be held on April 21, 2020 followed by the Joint Conference on April 22nd & 23rd, 2020. MSAWWA and MWEA are teaming up once again to provide great training and networking opportunities for all attendees. Please note that all selected speakers are expected to pay the complete registration fee if chosen to present at the conference. If payment is not received by March 1, 2020, you will be removed from the agenda.
The Joint Conference Program Committee is developing a technical program that will focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater issues, including an emphasis on system operations. The program committee is looking to add an operations tract to the program this year. Abstracts that are specifically pertinent to Montana and the West will be selected by the program committee. Speakers from the region are encouraged to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be geared toward the overall theme for the Joint Conference which is Working Together To Protect Montana’s Water Resources.
The Conference and Preconference programs will be developed from submitted and solicited abstracts. The Joint Conference technical sessions will address subjects of specific interest to professionals working with Montana’s water resources. Presentations are to be either 30 minutes or 45 minutes, including Q & A, in length. Additional written material may be provided for a more thorough understanding of complex information.
Please submit abstracts by December 20, 2019. You will be required to attach your abstract (around 500 words please) and short bios for all speakers at the bottom of the form.
