HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & THE SUPPORT OF AN INCLUSIVE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY THAT IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES FOR ALL STUDENTS.

Social Studies Teachers in Grades 4th-8th who Teach at a school district that receives Title 1 Funding or serves at a school where 30% or more of the student population receives FREE or REDUCED LUNCH.

If you are not selected for this cohort, are you interested in becoming a control group teacher for the 2023-2024 school year? A control group teacher has never had training in the We the People curriculum. You would receive a stipend to take a pre and post-instruction survey and administer an online pre- and post-survey your students. You would not participate in professional development or use the curriculum in 2023-2024. You would receive priority registration to participate in the 2024-2025 professional development program.*
