NZERF Equine Vet-Farrier Scholarship
Supporting Excellence in Equine Foot Care

The NZERF Equine Vet-Farrier Scholarship is an annual award that provides veterinarians and farriers with the opportunity to travel together to advance their expertise in equine foot care.

Offered in collaboration with the New Zealand Farriers Association and the Equine Branch of the New Zealand Veterinary Association, this scholarship supports teams from the same geographical area to learn together and bring new knowledge back to their local communities.

Scholarship Value: $3,000 per veterinarian and farrier

Who Can Apply:
A veterinarian and farrier team that must be from the same geographical area, and are both members of their respective professional bodies.

Application Deadline: 30 November annually

Typical Activities: Attending specialist courses and symposiums in the USA, or visiting leading practices such as Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital
