  • Summer Camps Preference: 

    • Weekly camps from Monday-Friday
    • AM class: 8:30-12:00; PM class: 1:00-4:30
    • A child can only attend one class per day, as per our licensing regulations

    Fee: $220 per weekly camp ($200 for the short week of August 3); $30 one-time registration fee if you're new to Extra Steps

    • Current Extra Steps Preschool families and families that have registered for the next school year will have the following discount
      - 5% for signing up 3-5 camps;
      - 10% for signing up 6 camps or more
    • Discount is only applied when you sign up for camps at once, not retroactive.
      Families can apply the discount to siblings i.e. 2 siblings in 3 weeks = 6 week discount

    Cancellation Policy:

    • Any changes and withdrawals must be in writing 30 days prior to camp start date for 50% refund. (No refund with less than 30 day notice)

  • You will receive a confirmation email from us shortly after submitting the form. It will also contain the registration package, the total fee, and the payment method.

    Fees are due on May 1st. Fees can be paid via e-transfer to info@extrasteps.ca, cheque made out to Extra Steps Preschool or cash. Preschool families have the option to pay through a Lillio invoice. Multi-camp discount is only applicable when first signing up. Any additional camp weeks added after registering will not receive the discount.

    Family’s Request for Withdrawal from Camp:

    If you wish to withdraw or make changes from the program early, you must give a thirty (30) day’s notice in writing by the 1st day of the program start date prior to leaving for a 50% refund of your program fee. Failure to do so will mean that your program fee is forfeited.

    Facility’s Request for Withdrawal:

    Extra Steps Learning Centres Inc. can terminate its services to a family under the following circumstances:

    • If fees for services are not paid in full and on time and suitable arrangements cannot be agreed upon;
    • If the centre is unable to satisfactorily resolve a problem with a family;
    • If a family member harasses, threatens or commits a violent or unlawful act toward a staff member, child or other family involved in the program;
    • If a family picks up their child late without having made previous suitable arrangements;
    • If, in the assessment of the staff, a child is unable to be safely managed in a group of children within the given adult-to-child ratio. In this case, termination of services will be a measure of last resort.
