  • In order to provide you with the best possible experience, we'd like to know more about your group.

    Please note that free guided tours are available for groups of 40 or less students/individuals. Larger groups may request a guided tour and will be accommodated based on staff availability.

    Virtual and In-Person tours must be made at least 2 week in advance.

    • For In-person tours, we provide supplies for the art activity.
    • For Virtual tours, you provide supplies for the art activity.
    • Tour only generally lasts 1 hour
    • Tour with art activity generally lasts 2 hours
    • Beginning September 1, 2023 Irving Arts Center will be charging $5.00 per person for all "In-Person tours with art activity". Exemptions will be granted for Title I Schools only.

  • Request for Transportation Reimbursement

  • Limited funds are available to assist schools with transportation costs. Transportation reimbursements will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a $1000 cap per school per school year. Funding will be provisionally reserved once the field trip reservation has been confirmed. Reimbursement will not be issued until the field trip has been completed and a receipt is submitted to Irving Arts Center.

  • The ‘per bus’ reimbursement is for a standard full-size bus that can carry 40 or more people. This standard size is also applied to charter buses. After the field trip, invoices must be submitted to IAC to receive transportation reimbursements.

    • Transportation and related arrangements are the sole responsibility of the school. Irving Arts Center assumes no responsibility for any loss, cost, or injury damage to persons and property that may arise from such transportation and related arrangements.
    • Irving Arts Center does not reimburse individual teachers. We will only pay individual schools or school districts directly for the cost of transportation.
    • Classroom teachers and community educators must ensure Irving Arts Center receives an invoice on institutional letterhead for the cost of the bus, based on the limits in the above chart, within three weeks following the group visit.
