Please note that candidates must be fluent in English, possess an Honduran ID, have a high school diploma, and be at least 18 years old.

To apply, you must meet all of the following requirements:
✅ Honduran national with valid cédula
✅ Minimum age: 18 years
✅ Completed high school diploma (Bachillerato or equivalent)
✅ Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
✅ Clean criminal record 

The Massage Therapy Program at Island Massage School is a paid 500+ hour program. Training includes both classroom instruction and hands-on learning in the Student Clinic, as well as outreach events and continuing education.

Massage therapy is a physically demanding profession. Students must be prepared to perform multiple treatments per day, using proper body mechanics and stamina. Students are required to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week in the Student Clinic.

Clinic hours typically run from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
A full clinic shift usually includes up to four massage treatments per day.
💡 All hours are paid, and your earnings contribute directly toward your tuition.

A minimum of 2 days per week is required for both class and clinic.

You are expected to be at school from 9:30am - 5:30pm.

Our massage training is a combination of online and in-person learning. 

Massage therapy is a very physical profession. You will spend hours standing, using your hands, arms, and body weight to give massage treatments.

At Island Massage School, you are expected to:

• Arrive on time for every class and clinic shift (punctuality is part of professionalism).
• Dress professionally in school uniform and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Treat clients, classmates, and teachers with respect at all times.
• Be honest in your communication, your learning process, and your treatment notes.
• Follow school policies including client confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical conduct.
• Communicate responsibly, including timely responses to messages and notifying the school if you will be absent.
• Demonstrate professionalism in your attitude, behavior, and commitment to learning.
