What You’ll Need to Get Started

To help us open your student’s account smoothly, please have the following ready before you begin:

For the Student (Newborn to Age 17):
- Two forms of ID
  (Accepted: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, State ID, Passport)
For the Parent or Guardian (if student is under 18):
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security Number
For Students Age 18 or Older (must be enrolled in school):
- One form of ID (State ID, Driver’s License, or Passport)

You’ll upload required documents later in this form. It’s best to have these items ready before you begin to help the process go smoothly for you.

Do you wish to set up Overdraft Courtesy Pay?* This field is required.Overdraft Courtesy Pay (OCP) would allow you to overdraft your checking account up to $500 and pay items by bringing the account negative. If approved, we no longer charge an overdraft fee until your account is more than $25 overdrawn. Each transaction that brings the account negative starting at $25.01 will include a $25 fee. *After a 30 day negative account status, Illinois State CU is authorized to remove this service. In order to have this reinstated, you will need to contact the credit union to re-apply.

Yes, I authorize ISCU to pay my overdrafts. I understand this will bring my account negative and I will be charged a $25 fee for all transactions bringing my account negative starting at $25.01.

No, I do not want ISCU to pay overdrafts and bring my account negative. I understand that any item I do not have enough money for will be returned as unpaid and I will be charged a $25 fee for insufficient funds regardless of my account balance.
