• Jane Bailey Memorial Garden
    Membership Application Form

Thanks for your interest in joining Jane Bailey Memorial Garden! Garden members are central to keeping the garden open to the community and its upkeep.

What does it mean to be a “garden member?”

    • have a gate key and maintain a weekly open hour
    • pay the annual dues of $25
    • attend all monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month (April- October); not miss more than 2 meetings without prior notification
    • respect other community members, garden plots, garden space, and garden tools

    Garden member privileges include:

    • booking the garden for events (note: while events are being held, the garden must still be open to the public. All events in the garden are not private)
    • use of the communal barbeque
    • access to our beautiful green space
    • possibly a plot to plant in (see below)

How do I become a garden member?

    • submit this form
    • attend three garden meetings
    • complete three hours of garden work during our garden work days
    • pay $25 yearly garden fee

Can I plant in a personal garden plot?

Joining the garden as a member does not guarantee a plot. After completing the above application requirements, you can join the waitlist for a plot.

The following misdemeanors are cause for dismissal from garden membership:

    • Missing more than two garden meetings (without prior notification)
    • Displaying aggressive, rude, or negative behavior towards other community members.
