- Where to go -
Camp participants meet in the Gathering Space of the St. John the Baptist Middle School. You may enter the building from the north entrance. Doors open for check-in at 7:50 am everyday. Bus leaves promptly as scheduled on field trip days. Camp activities conclude at 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. Please be prompt for pick up.
- What to bring -
Students will need a sack lunch 4 of the 5 days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Lunch will be provided for all participants on Tuesday. For field trip days, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a jacket if it looks like rain. All other necessary supplies will be provided.
- ACTIVITIES -
Monday : Students will spend the day participating in Chemistry labs and will start to build a volcano that we will make explode on Friday.

Tuesday: Representatives from the University of Utah College of Engineering will introduce disciplines of Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. Students will then have the opportunity to work with other campers to design and test a variety of interactive models.

Wednesday: Students will spend part of the day exploring Utah's Natural History Museum. We will spend time exploring the Great Salt Lake exhibit, Dinosaur exhibit, Land Exhibit, and Climate of Hope exhibit.

Thursday: Students will learn about AI at the Leonardo. There will be a 40 minute presentation about AI’s possibilities that is shown on the ceiling, floor, and walls. Once the presentation concludes we will explore the rest of the museum.

ORNITHOLOGY: Students will learn about animal science and food science at Wheeler Farm. Once we return to school students will make ice cream and explode their volcanoes.
