National YAC Sub-Committee Interest Indicator

Thank you for your interest in serving on a sub-committee for the Big “I” National Young Agents Committee (YAC)! Please complete the following interest indicator with your information to be considered for a position.

There are six sub-committees of the National YAC. They are:

Agent Relations: Develop engagement opportunities for Young Agents and company partners.
Education: Connect Young Agents with existing education tools that exist across the Big "I" and identify other opportunities for growth.
Events: Support with the planning of Legislative Conference, Young Agents Leadership Institute (YALI), and generate ideas to help states with their local events.
GIVE: Provide resources to encourage independent agents to engage in acts of community service throughout the year, with a spotlight on activation the first week of June.
Membership & Marketing: Support with state outreach and engagement, identify recruitment ideas and opportunities, and brainstorm ways to keep Young Agents involved.
Programming: Support with activities like the bi-monthly Young Agents Resource Roundtables, newsletter, and resource development.

Your term on the sub-committee will run from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027.
If you're selected for a sub-committee, you agree to participate in all sub-committee meetings via online platform. If special circumstances do not allow you to attend, you will communicate with the Sub-Committee Chair and Young Agents Liaison to ensure feedback is provided pre/post meeting.
- If you miss three (3) meetings, you will meet with the Young Agents Liaison to discuss your service on the sub-committee.
The Big "I" defines a Young Agent as someone 40 years or younger, or an individual who has less than 5 years experience in the industry. By clicking submit, you agree that you adhere to this definition.
