Jeremy Miller is a 2001 Haas School of Business grad. After graduating, he joined Frank Gehry's 1962 Gehry Partners, LLP. According to Miller, he managed and coordinated activities of over one hundred global consultants across three continents, acted as a liaison between regional project managers and clients and managed the human resources department.
Miller left Gehry Partners LLP to study at Columbia Business School in NYC. He helped teach Greenhouse Entrepreneurship and Launching New Ventures at the university. During this time, he got the idea to launch a healthcare company that would teach employees about FSAs (FSA). As Miller observed at Gehry Partners LLC, many employees didn't understand how an FSA worked, allowing them to avoid paying taxes on healthcare-related income.
