J-LEV Application: 2023 - 2024 Cohort
The Jewish Federation of San Antonio’s Leadership Development Program, J-LEV, is now accepting applications for cohort 3. J-LEV is a highly selective 8-month (once a month) program that provides a cohort of young adults with the opportunities to grow their leadership skills through a unique blend of a curated curriculum, current lay leader connections, and high-access professional networking. Alongside a network of other talented peers, participants graduate with a deepened understanding of how to lead systemic change and make a positive impact through philanthropy and non-profit committee and board service across Jewish San Antonio. Jewish Federation of San Antonio will help connect you to start or enhance your lay leadership journey after graduation.

The Federation believes in investing in the Jewish future. That’s why we’re committed to fostering the next generation of Jewish leaders who will help support the rich history of Jewish life and ensure our community continues to thrive.

The application process is a chance to tell your story – who you are and why you’d like to be a part of this program. We take pride in the fact that J-LEV reflects the diversity of our community and includes people from varying professional backgrounds, political orientations, aspirations for Jewish leadership, and affiliations in the community.

Applications open Monday, July 24, and close Monday, August 21.

Once your application is received, you will be contacted by Mayra Levy, Development Associate, to set up an interview day and time. (In-person or on Zoom, it is up to you!) Applicants will be notified of acceptance to the J-LEV Leadership Program by Thursday, September 13.

Please read the following expectations for J-LEV participants:
1. A financial investment of at least $360 annually or $30 monthly to the 2023 Jewish Federation of San Antonio Annual Campaign.
2. $30 program fee due upon acceptance (will go towards your total $360 Annual Campaign gift).
3. All J-LEV members are encouraged to participate in relevant activities and programs at JFSA.
