  • Thanks to kind souls across the YOB Community who have chosen to Pay It Forward, funded places are available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people seeking to access the Aboriginal Mental Health Course.

     

    If purchasing the course yourself would be difficult right now, you can apply for funded access below.

     

    There is no cost to apply and, if approved, there is no cost to access the course.

     

    This application should only take a few minutes.

     

    Funded places are specifically reserved for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, so we will ask you a few questions about your family, Mob, and community connections.

     

    We understand that everyone’s circumstances are different. Some people know extensive information about their family and Country, while others may have gaps due to adoption, family separation, the Stolen Generations, disconnection, or other circumstances.

     

    You do not need formal Confirmation of Aboriginality to apply.

     

    Please provide the information currently available to you and answer honestly to the best of your knowledge.

     

    You also do not need to disclose detailed trauma, medical information or anything you do not feel comfortable sharing.

    We are not asking you to provide a formal Confirmation of Aboriginality.

     

    We simply ask applicants to tell us what they currently know about their family, Mob, Country and community connection so that we can responsibly allocate funded places.

     

    Not everyone will know every answer.
