Día de Muertos - Halloween Celebration will take place at Manny’s Performance Space in downtown State College Friday, October 30th, 2026, from 7-11:30pm. Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a commemoration of life and a remembrance of loved ones who have passed away, traditionally from Mexico and many Latin American countries.
For this event we will have DJ Flores, so get ready to dance, sing, and socialize! We will also have a costume contest, where people can come with iconic La Catrina and El Catrín makeup and outfit inspired looks or their favorite Halloween costumes. Everyone is also encouraged to participate in a community ofrenda, where people can add pictures or symbolic items of loved ones who have passed away. Join us to share a Latin tradition with people from different cultures and backgrounds!
Food from Lupita's is available on a first come first serve basis.
Ticket prices: $3.50 for students and $5 for non-students. Please bring your ID.
