P4GYEP is open to youth 18 and under that have a sincere desire to start or grow their business and are committed to the process. We believe in legacy building. We also realize that life after high school does not have to equate to working for someone; therefore, youth entrepreneurship provides a pathway to a career that students will actually enjoy because their passion, interests, and natural talents will be the driving forces. Plus, they can make money before even graduating from high school!
Life is all about choices and having options to make those choices. Entrepreneurship is a viable career path and one that should be explored as early as possible.
During this four-month program students will participate in activities that will transform their business idea into a viable business. They will learn how to:
· write a mission statement
· draft a business plan
· how to set a budget
· how to protect their brand…..among many other topics
All sessions will be held virtually with our P4GYEP Business Branding Coach, LeTonya Moore.
*There will be an opportunity for P4GYE's to pitch their business at a competition in Alabama in the fall. This involves a separate application and selection process.
Program launch and first session will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Crofton Library from 12-2 pm.
There is no cost to register for this program!
