Future Millionaires: Young Investment Summit

Over the course of five days, your child learn about the world of investing! Our facilitator is Justin De Vose, Financial Education Director at Equity Now, Inc. Open to 8th-12th grade students.
The summit will run from daily Monday, July 28 to Friday August 1, 2025 from 9 am to 12 noon at Legends Public Charter School located in Lanham, MD. The schedule is as follows:

Day 1: Introduction to Personal Finance and Investing

Day 2: Basics of the Stock Market

Day 3: Diving Deeper into Investing Strategies

Day 4: Wealth Building

Day 5: Planning for the Future

A detailed schedule of session topics will be provided 30 days before the summit.

Sessions include interactive lesson plans with live stock market simulations, so laptops/Chromebooks are needed (cellphones are not ideal for most activities).

Students will also receive a bonus session on how to use AI responsibly and ethically.

Light snacks will be served.

Summit sessions will be photographed and recorded. Below is our Media Release Form. There are two options in this section. Please choose one option either giving us permission or not granting us permission to take images and videos of you and/or your child(ren).
OPTION 1:
I give my permission for IT TAKES TWO, INC and Equity Now, Inc to video tape, audio tape, and interview me and/or my child, for my/his image likeness or comments to be used in print, internet, television, and radio, for any program evaluation, publicity, or media purpose’s in support of IT TAKES TWO, INC’s programs, workshops, and events.

I do hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or published material that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, what that use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photograph or other media.

I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for published media.

I also understand that IT TAKES TWO, INC and Equity Now, Inc is not responsible for any liability incurred because of my participation in any media recording, photographs, or published material.
