Share your vision for the City’s largest regional park asset called, “Legacy Lands”!
Over the past decade, the City acquired 165 acres along the north shore of Lacamas Lake. We call this acreage “Legacy Lands.”

Now we’re drafting a master plan for this area, which will frame how to develop this area into a regional park. The Plan will focus on balancing conservation of natural areas and wildlife habitat as well as enhancing the site for public access and recreation. The Plan will also look at how to use existing buildings on the property, such as the Leadbetter House and Barn, for new purposes.
When filling out this survey, please think about how the City can balance preserving natural areas and wildlife with providing access for people to enjoy the park. We want to know how we can best protect the environment while also offering opportunities for recreation, education, and community involvement. Your input will help us plan the future of the Legacy Lands. We will use your feedback as well as consider what’s possible and practical to suggest different ways to develop the site that respect both its natural features and the needs of our community.
