Champaign Rotary Club Foundation Joseph H Cannon Grant Application

Champaign Rotary invites proposals for durable items from nonprofits in Champaign County. Successful proposals will address problems to be solved or opportunities to make a difference.

Each proposal will be evaluated on its potential value to Champaign County, funding available for disbursement and on the quality of planning leadership, support and vision expressed in the application.

Each application MUST be supported and sponsored by a member in good standing of the Champaign Rotary Club.

The minimum amount to be granted is $5,000 and does not typically exceed $20,000.

The Joseph H Cannon grants do NOT provide funding for the following:
- Annual operating expenses including staff costs, marketing and nondurable items
- Endowments or scholarships
- Costs already incurred
- Assistance to individuals
- Political candidates
- Sectarian purposes
- Start-up costs for new agencies
- For-profit organizations
