💋 ABOUT MS. BUBBLETOP
The Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest celebrates vintage glamour, individuality, confidence, kindness, and the culture surrounding traditional hot rods and kustom cars.
We aren't simply looking for the best dress, hair, or makeup.
We are looking for women who can carry themselves confidently in a crowd while demonstrating kindness, compassion, positivity, professionalism, good sportsmanship, sophistication, and class.
No performance, singing, or dancing is required.
Bring us your personality, individuality, and some good old-fashioned glamour!
Ms. Bubbletop is a family-friendly contest, and we welcome women of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and experience levels.
Tattoos are welcome!

Ms. Bubbletop isn't simply a title awarded on stage.
The woman crowned 2027 Ms. Bubbletop becomes an official representative of:

Our titleholder should be comfortable interacting with attendees, families, exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, photographers, fellow pin-ups, and members of the hot rod and kustom car community.
Throughout her reign, Ms. Bubbletop may be featured in advertising, social media, promotional appearances, photography, and other events.
She will also be invited to return for the 2028 Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest as a judge and to participate in crowning and sashing her successor.
💌 APPLICATIONS & SELECTION
Submitting an application does not guarantee a position in the contest.
Submissions open September 18, 2026 and close December 31, 2026.
After submissions close, preliminary judges will review all eligible applications and select 18 contestants to compete in the 2027 Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest.
The Top 18 will be notified/announced on January 3, 2027.
Selections are based on the contestant's entire application—not simply her photograph.
Consideration may include:
• Bio and application answers
• Hobbies and interests
• Personality and individuality
• Overall pin-up presentation
• Professionalism
• Public and social media presence
• How the applicant presents herself publicly
• Previous Ms. Bubbletop participation, when applicable
• Previous Ms. Bubbletop placements or specialty awards, when applicable
• The overall strength and variety of that year's applicant pool
We aren't looking for 18 women who look the same. We want different personalities, styles, backgrounds, and interpretations of pin-up represented on the Ms. Bubbletop stage.
Application Approval
Applications are manually reviewed and approved to help prevent fraudulent or spoof entries.
Because of this, your submission may not appear immediately after it is submitted.
Please do not submit multiple applications simply because your entry does not appear right away.

Previous Ms. Bubbletop contestants are welcome to apply again!
However, once a contestant has been crowned Ms. Bubbletop, she is no longer eligible to compete for the title in future years.

💋 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Submit a completed application before the deadline.
• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Submit a current, clear, quality pin-up photograph.
• Submit a photograph approximately 800–1000 pixels or larger and suitable for online promotional use.
• Have permission to submit and authorize promotional use of the photograph.
• Maintain a public social media profile during the application and contestant-selection period.
• Agree to follow the Ms. Bubbletop Rules, Contestant Expectations, and Code of Conduct.
Incomplete, inappropriate, fraudulent, or late submissions may not be considered.
👗 PIN-UP STYLE & ATTIRE
Ms. Bubbletop celebrates 1940s–1970s classic glamour and vintage-inspired pin-up fashion.
Your clothing does not have to be authentic vintage. Reproduction and vintage-inspired clothing are welcome. Handmade alike – as long as it is era appropriate.
Appropriate looks may include:
• Circle dresses and skirts
• Pencil skirts
• Wiggle dresses
• Blouses
• Capris
• High-waisted shorts or pants
• Vintage-inspired separates
• Rockabilly-inspired looks
• Coordinating vintage-inspired accessories
Hair, makeup, accessories, and styling should complement the overall look.
Most importantly, we want to see your personality and your interpretation of vintage pin-up style.
🚫 Not Permitted
Because this is a family-friendly event, the following are not permitted:
• Nudity
• Flashing
• Pasties
• Lingerie as an outfit
• Bikinis
• Thong-style bottoms
• Overtly sexual or excessively revealing attire
• Lewd or sexually explicit behavior
• Offensive or inappropriate wording, imagery, props, or presentation
(Era appropriate swim with coordinating cover up/ sarong may be permitted if the theme allows)
Contest management reserves the right to require an outfit or presentation to be modified if it is determined inappropriate for the family-friendly nature of the event.
Tattoos are welcome.
⭐ SATURDAY — THE COMPETITION
All 18 contestants will compete Saturday.
Contestants should be prepared to interact with judges, attendees, exhibitors, vendors, photographers, sponsors, and fellow contestants throughout the event—not simply during their time on stage.
Specific check-in, contestant meeting, staging, and competition times will be provided before the event. An Itinerary will be sent out no less than a week before the event.
Contestants are responsible for being checked in, dressed, prepared, and at the appropriate location at the designated times. We will not wait for you.
At the conclusion of Saturday's competition, judging will determine the:

Nine contestants will advance to Sunday's final competition.
Being named to the Fine Nine is an accomplishment in itself and recognizes the contestants advancing to the final round of the 2027 Ms. Bubbletop competition.
👑 SUNDAY — FINE NINE FINALS
ALL 18 CONTESTANTS ARE REQUIRED TO RETURN SUNDAY.
Sunday is an official part of the Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest and is not an optional awards ceremony.
The Fine Nine will return to the stage for final judging.
From the Fine Nine, the judges will determine:

These three placements may only be awarded to contestants who advance to the Fine Nine.
During Sunday’s awards presentation, we will also announce the recipients of our specialty awards, which are open to all 18 contestants.
🚨 YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
All titles, specialty awards, prizes, prize packages, and winnings will be officially presented Sunday, February 21, 2027.
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.
If a contestant is not present for the official awards presentation, she forfeits eligibility for any title, specialty award, prize package, cash prize, or associated winnings.
Because specialty awards remain open to all 18 contestants, all 18 contestants must return Sunday regardless of whether they advance to the Fine Nine.
By accepting a place among the 18 contestants, you are committing to participating in the Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest both Saturday and Sunday.
Please consider transportation, lodging, employment, childcare, and other commitments before accepting your position.
Contestants selected as Ms. Bubbletop, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up must also remain at the event through the completion of their required participation in the official car show awards ceremony.
🏆 TOP THREE — CAR SHOW AWARDS CEREMONY
The responsibilities of the Top Three do not end when the Ms. Bubbletop awards are announced.
The contestants named:

are required to remain at the event on Sunday and participate in the Rockin’ Billy Bash awards ceremony and the Darryl Starbird's Rod & Custom Car Show – The Next Generation awards ceremony.
The Top Three will assist with presenting awards to the winning car owners during the official car show awards ceremony.
This is part of the responsibilities that come with being selected as one of the Top Three and is an important opportunity to represent Ms. Bubbletop while supporting the car show that hosts our contest.
PLEASE PLAN YOUR SUNDAY DEPARTURE ACCORDINGLY.
Top Three contestants should not make travel arrangements that require them to leave immediately following the Ms. Bubbletop awards presentation.
If selected as one of the Top Three, you are expected to remain through the completion of your required participation in the car show awards ceremony.
Specific instructions, meeting locations, and ceremony times will be provided during the event.
💕 SPECIALTY AWARDS
All three specialty awards remain open to ALL 18 CONTESTANTS, regardless of Fine Nine status.
All specialty awards will be announced during Sunday's awards presentation.
💕 MS. CONGENIALITY
Ms. Congeniality is chosen by the contestants, for the contestants.
This award recognizes the woman who demonstrates exceptional kindness, encouragement, friendship, respect, good sportsmanship, and support toward her fellow contestants throughout the Ms. Bubbletop experience.
Each of the 18 contestants will privately cast one vote for the fellow contestant she believes best represents the spirit of Ms. Congeniality.
Contestants may not vote for themselves.
When casting your vote, we encourage you to consider the contestant who:
• Made others feel welcome and included
• Encouraged and supported her fellow contestants
• Demonstrated kindness both onstage and behind the scenes
• Showed genuine good sportsmanship
• Helped others when needed
• Maintained a positive attitude throughout the experience
• Celebrated the accomplishments of others
• Contributed to making the weekend enjoyable for everyone
The contestant receiving the highest number of valid votes will be named:

Ms. Congeniality may be awarded to any of the original 18 contestants and is not limited to members of the Fine Nine.
The recipient must be present during Sunday's official awards presentation to receive the award and any associated prizes or winnings.
Voting will remain private, and individual contestant votes will not be disclosed.
💋 CROWD'S CRUSH
The Crowd's Crush gives both our online supporters and members of the car show community an opportunity to select their favorite 2027 contestant.
Online QR Voting
Online voting will take place through the official Ms. Bubbletop voting page using a QR code.
• Voting is expected to run for approximately one month leading up to the event.
• Supporters may vote once per day during the designated voting period.
• Each valid QR vote equals one vote.
• Contestants may share and promote the official voting information.
Official opening and closing dates will be announced before voting begins.
Exhibitor & Vendor Voting
Participating exhibitors and vendors at the show will receive an official voting card to select their favorite contestant.
Each valid voting card equals one additional vote.
This gives contestants an additional opportunity to earn support through their interactions with the people who are part of the show itself.
At the close of voting:
VALID QR VOTES + VALID EXHIBITOR/VENDOR VOTES = FINAL VOTE TOTAL
The contestant receiving the highest combined number of valid votes will be named:
💋 CROWD'S CRUSH
The Crowd's Crush may be awarded to any of the original 18 contestants and does not have to be a member of the Fine Nine.
The recipient must be present Sunday to receive the award and any associated prizes or winnings.
Attempts to manipulate voting through automated voting, fraudulent votes, unauthorized duplicate voting, reproduced voting cards, purchased votes, or other intentionally unfair methods may result in invalid votes being removed and/or disqualification from the award.
Contest management reserves the right to review questionable voting activity and make the final determination regarding vote eligibility.
💕 SOCIAL SWEETHEART
The Social Sweetheart Award recognizes the contestant who goes beyond simply competing and truly embraces the Ms. Bubbletop experience—both online and in person.
This award is about being social in every sense of the word and positively representing the spirit of Ms. Bubbletop throughout the experience.
Selection will be based on a contestant's overall participation, interaction, attitude, effort, and involvement before and during the event.
Online Presence May Include:
• Promoting her participation in Ms. Bubbletop
• Sharing and engaging with official contest/event posts
• Creating positive Ms. Bubbletop-related content
• Tagging and recognizing the contest/event when appropriate
• Encouraging attendance and support
• Supporting and encouraging fellow contestants
• Positive and professional online interactions
• Showing genuine excitement about participating
Follower count is NOT a determining factor.
A contestant with a smaller social media following has the same opportunity to earn Social Sweetheart as someone with thousands of followers.
The focus is on participation, effort, positivity, engagement, and authenticity—not popularity.
In-Person Presence May Include:
• Interaction with attendees
• Interaction with exhibitors and vendors
• Interaction with sponsors
• Interaction with fellow contestants
• Willingness to mingle throughout the show
• Friendliness and approachability
• Taking photographs and interacting with guests
• Supporting contest and show activities
• Maintaining a positive attitude throughout the weekend
• Professionalism and representation of Ms. Bubbletop
• Overall involvement beyond required stage appearances
Social Sweetheart is not necessarily the loudest, most outgoing, or most popular contestant, or someone who brings things to hand out to the crowd.
It recognizes the woman who makes a genuine effort to connect with people, support those around her, promote the event, and positively represent Ms. Bubbletop.
Contestants will not be informed when or by whom these qualities are being observed.
Social Sweetheart is separate from the main competition judging and does not affect Fine Nine or final-placement scores.
The recipient must be present Sunday to receive the award and any associated prizes or winnings.
💕 CONTESTANT CODE OF CONDUCT
Ms. Bubbletop is built around community, friendship, vintage culture, hot rods, kustoms, and having fun.
From the time contestants are announced through the conclusion of the event, contestants are expected to conduct themselves with:
KINDNESS • RESPECT • POSITIVITY • PROFESSIONALISM • CLASS • GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP
These expectations apply:
• On stage
• Backstage
• Throughout the car show
• Online
• With fellow contestants
• With judges and hosts
• With contest/event staff and volunteers
• With sponsors
• With vendors and exhibitors
• With photographers
• With attendees and families
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS REQUIRED.
There is zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, threats, deliberately interfering with another contestant, or intentionally creating an unsafe or hostile environment.
Not everyone has to become best friends.
Everyone does have to treat one another respectfully.
Contestants must follow reasonable directions from contest management, the host, stage personnel, and authorized event staff.
📱 SOCIAL MEDIA CONDUCT
Your public presence is part of representing Ms. Bubbletop, and we will check.
We encourage contestants to promote their participation, share official content, cheer for one another, and have fun!
However, contestants may not use social media to publicly bully, harass, threaten, or deliberately disparage fellow contestants, judges, staff, sponsors, Ms. Bubbletop, or its associated events.
Concerns regarding contest operations should be brought privately to contest management rather than handled through public arguments or social media disputes.
Good sportsmanship applies online too.
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & INTERACTING WITH THE SHOW
We encourage contestants to arrive early when possible, explore the show, mingle with attendees, meet exhibitors and vendors, and take photographs with attendees when asked.
We want Ms. Bubbletop contestants to be part of the atmosphere of the entire event.
📷 OFFICIAL PIN-UP PHOTOGRAPHER
An official Ms. Bubbletop pin-up photographer will be on site during the event to photograph contestants and contest activities.
Because an official photographer is provided, contestants may not bring or arrange for their own professional photographer to photograph them during the event.
Contestants may also not participate in or arrange professional or portfolio-style photography with another professional photographer while participating in the Ms. Bubbletop contest or during the show.
This includes photographers who may already be attending or working elsewhere within the event. Being approached by a photographer does not override this rule.
If contest management observes or becomes aware of a contestant participating in unauthorized professional photography during the event, the contestant may be immediately disqualified from the Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest and forfeit eligibility for titles, specialty awards, prizes, and winnings.
This rule is not intended to prevent normal photographs with attendees, friends, family members, exhibitors, vendors, or casual cell-phone pictures. We absolutely encourage contestants to interact with the crowd and enjoy being photographed throughout the show.
The distinction is casual event photography versus arranged or professional photography.
If you are unsure whether a photography opportunity is permitted, please ask contest management before participating.
Contestants May Not Charge for Photographs
Contestants may not charge attendees for photographs.
This includes photographs:
• Of you
• With you
• Of you with an attendee
• Of you with someone's vehicle
🚗 PLEASE RESPECT THE CARS!
Always receive permission from the vehicle owner before:
• Sitting on a vehicle
• Leaning against a vehicle
• Touching a vehicle
• Entering a vehicle
• Placing props or personal belongings on a vehicle
Never assume that because a vehicle is on display it is okay to touch it.
🎤 BACKSTAGE & CONTESTANT AREAS
Designated contestant dressing, staging, or backstage areas are reserved for contestants and authorized contest/event personnel unless otherwise approved.
Friends, family, photographers, and other guests should not enter restricted contestant areas without permission.
Please respect the privacy, changing space, and belongings of your fellow contestants.
Contestants are responsible for their own clothing, accessories, purses, phones, and other personal property.
📷 PHOTO, VIDEO & PROMOTIONAL RELEASE
By entering the 2027 Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest, contestants acknowledge that the contest takes place during a public event where photography and video recording will occur.
By submitting an application, contestants authorize their submitted entry photograph, approved name/stage name, approved biography information, and photographs/video captured during contest activities to be used for Ms. Bubbletop and associated event promotional purposes.
This may include:
• Social media
• Websites
• Printed advertising
• Flyers and posters
• Future contest promotion
• Event recaps
• Promotional videos
• Other Ms. Bubbletop/event advertising
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate permission from the photographer/rightsholder to submit their application photograph for promotional use.
🎟️ TRAVEL, LODGING & PERSONAL EXPENSES
Unless specifically stated otherwise, contestants are responsible for their own:
• Transportation
• Lodging
• Meals
• Wardrobe
• Hair and makeup
• Personal expenses
Selection as one of the 18 contestants does not automatically include reimbursement for travel, lodging, or other expenses.
⚖️ JUDGING & FINAL DECISIONS
Ms. Bubbletop judging is about more than physical appearance.
Judges may consider:
• Vintage-inspired styling and overall presentation
• Personality and authenticity
• Confidence
• Poise
• Stage presence
• Communication
• Individuality
• Professionalism
• Audience interaction
• Ability to represent Ms. Bubbletop
Judges should evaluate the contestant participating in the 2027 competition, regardless of previous titles or placements.
Personal friendships, follower counts, body type, age, tattoos, cost of wardrobe, or professional pageant experience should not provide additional judging points.
Judges’ scores and final results are final. Individual scores, score sheets, judges’ notes, and scoring details are confidential and will not be disclosed to contestants or others following the competition. Please respect this policy by not requesting to view or receive your score sheet or individual scores.
Contestants, family members, friends, or supporters may not confront, intimidate, harass, or argue with judges regarding scores or placements.
Questions regarding contest procedures should be directed privately to contest management.
🚫 REMOVAL OR DISQUALIFICATION
Ms. Bubbletop reserves the right to remove or disqualify a contestant for serious or repeated violations of contest rules.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
• Providing false application information
• Failure to meet eligibility requirements
• Inappropriate or prohibited attire
• Nudity or lewd behavior
• Bullying or harassment
• Threatening or aggressive behavior
• Deliberately interfering with another contestant
• Serious unsportsmanlike conduct
• Failure to follow reasonable staff instructions
• Missing required contest activities without approval
• Conduct creating a safety concern
• Fraudulent voting activity
• Participating in unauthorized professional photography during the event
• Conduct seriously damaging to the family-friendly nature or reputation of Ms. Bubbletop or its associated events
When circumstances allow, contest management may address minor concerns directly with a contestant before taking further action.
Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal.
👑 TITLEHOLDER EXPECTATIONS
The woman crowned 2027 Ms. Bubbletop becomes an ambassador for the contest during her reign.
She is expected to continue representing Ms. Bubbletop with the same kindness, professionalism, class, positivity, and good sportsmanship expected during the competition.
She may be invited to:
• Participate in promotional appearances
• Attend car shows or related events
• Participate in promotional photography
• Promote Ms. Bubbletop through social media
• Interact with sponsors and supporters
• Represent Ms. Bubbletop within the pin-up and kustom car communities
• Return for the following year's competition as a judge
• Participate in crowning and sashing her successor
Appearance opportunities may vary, and additional information will be provided to the titleholder.

There is only one Ms. Bubbletop crown, but there are 18 women who have earned the opportunity to step onto that stage. There is room for everyone.

👑 ENTRY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By submitting an application for the 2027 Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to follow the contest rules, eligibility requirements, attendance requirements, Code of Conduct, judging policies, photography policies, and promotional-use provisions.
You understand that selection as one of the 18 contestants requires participation during both Saturday and Sunday of the 2027 Ms. Bubbletop Pin-Up Contest.
If selected as Ms. Bubbletop, 1st Runner-Up, or 2nd Runner-Up, you further understand that you are required to remain and participate in the official car show awards ceremony on Sunday.
Rules, schedules, and event procedures are subject to reasonable change when necessary for event operations. Contestants will be notified of significant changes.
