Inclement Weather Policy:
1. Typhoon Signal No. 8 or black rainstorm is hoisted the club will remain close, the Event / Class would be cancelled.
3.Lessons as per normal during Rain/Amber Rainstorm Warming Signal/Red Rainstorm Warning Singal/Typhoon Signal No.3.
4. Any event / class affected by the inclement weather of above, Email will be sent to the participants at least 3 hours before the Event / Class commences about the arrangement.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Application is subject to confirmation.
2. Fees will be charged monthly according to the sessions(s) once an application is confirmed.
3. Student is required to give at least ONE full academic month notice of termination of attendance in writing or by email.
4. Members must accompany their guests at any time during the event.
5. Any Helpers/ Nannies/ Drivers or personal attendants should remain at the designated waiting area in the Club.
6. A completed registration is required to fill in the enrolment form of the Events / Classes.
7. Club should contact the member for their guest emergency.
8. Confirmation email will be sent to participants at least 7 days in advance of the event commence.
9. The charge will be applied for late cancellation or no-show,
10. Student are allowed to arrange, at maximum, ONE makeup lesson (or waive lesson fee if no makeup class is available in the Club regular class schedule) per month. A two-week notice to the Club is needed for activities such as school exams and vacation leave. Sick leave has to be notified before 2 hours before class time with a valid medical certificate within the next 48 hours to be eligible for makeup lesson or lesson fee waiver.
No extra makeup lesson and fee waiver will be arranged
11. All payments will be made through Hong Kong Country Club Membership Account only after the confirmation email.
12. The Hong Kong Country Club reserve the right to change the rundown, venues, and time of the Event / Class without prior notice.
13. Events / Classes has a minimum and maximum requirement. If the minimum number of participants required is not met, the event will be either cancelled or rescheduled. The Events / Classes scheduled date is subject to the availability of facilities.
14. Photos or video clips taken during class, events or shows may be used for Club’s internal reference or promotion purpose.
Acknowledgement and Consent:
I hereby to agree to participate in the Event / Class, I read and understand the terms and conditions. I agree not to participate whilst suffering from any infection, contagious illness, disease or other ailment including (without limitation) open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of the other users. The use of all facilities or participation in the event/class is entirely at my own risk. I warrant and represent that I am in good physical condition, that I know of no medical or other reason why I am not capable of engaging in active or passive exercise, and that such exercise will not be detrimental to my health, safety, comfort or physical condition. I further represent that I suffer from no physical impairment that would prevent my use of the facilities or adversely affect my decision to participate in any activities at the event / class and confirm that the information I given above is true and correct. If my application is successful, I shall be fully responsible for the payment of all the expenses and be bound and abide by the Club Rules and By-Laws of The Hong Kong Country Club.
The Hong Kong Country Club shall not be responsible or be held liable for any loss of members’ and guest‘s valuables, money or other property on Club premises, and hereby release the Club, its officers, agents and contractors from any damage, injury or aggregated health problem that may incur due to the use of said facility, participating the event/class and its equipment. The Committee or Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person for safety, health or security reasons, and I agree to hold the Club and harmless from any and all claims, damages or liability arising from such refusal.
