Mission Statement of the NKY Chamber Women's Initiative:
Provide opportunities for women of all career stages to Connect, Grow, and Achieve in business.

Annual Breakfast:The Women's Initiative (WI) powered by PNC selects and honors one nonprofit Chamber member that supports women clients or women's needs at the Annual Breakfast. The Annual Breakfast is the second largest overall NKY Chamber event and largest Women's Initiative event.

Connect Hour:The Women's Initiative (WI) selects and honors a nonprofit Chamber member once a month at Connect Hour or Coffee Connect. This is a social networking event that is open to female Chamber members and future members.

The following criteria will be used when evaluating applications:
- Organization is active and current member of the NKY Chamber in good standing
- Organization's mission/objectives clearly align with the Women's Initiative mission
- Organization can provide several examples of the commitment to the NKY community
- Organization clearly advocates for women's needs and/or women clients
- Attendees would leave the event inspired and eager to volunteer/participate in the selected organization
