Hi!

I'm Ali Comerford a musician and songwriter from Kilkenny. I’m about to start developing my new project Just this Once. This project is part of RESONATE, Music Network’s Artist Residency programme in partnership with the National Opera House.

For this project I’m planning to write a series of songs, inspired by your stories. I invite you to tell me a story about something, or someone, that means a lot to you that you think deserves a song. It can be happy, funny or sad, it can be about something ordinary or something extraordinary, it can be about anything or anyone at all as long as it means something to you.

I will be selecting a number of your stories to develop into songs which I will perform at the National Opera House in Wexford on Sunday 3 December. 

 

Unfortunately, it may not be possible for me to write a song for every story, but I will be in touch with everyone who shares a story to let them know if their story has been selected. If your story is selected, you will be invited to join me to hear your story being performed on Sunday 3rd December at 3pm so please keep the date free.

If you would like your story to be anonymous you can select this option when completing your information below. If you chose to remain anonymous you can still attend the performance but there will be no public acknowledgement of your name or which song belongs to you.
