  • The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team will be comprised of 20 student-athletes who make outstanding contributions in the areas of volunteerism, civic involvement and community engagement. These individuals embody the true spirit of teamwork and giving back through commendable acts of philanthropy. One exemplary student-athlete will later be awarded captain of the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (Winter). 

    The goal of this program is to provide recognition for these future community leaders, their teams, academic institutions, and the communities they support.

    Criteria

    Although there may be exceptions, it is suggested that 2025-26 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team student-athlete nominees:

    1. Have completed a minimum of one year (two semesters) of college level work at a two-year and/or four-year institution.
    2. Have made significant contributions to their team on and off the field of play.
    3. Demonstrate outstanding character and dedication in the classroom that makes them candidates for graduation.
    4. Have made a commitment to volunteerism by donating time and energy to serve others.
    5. Demonstrate commitment to a significant community such as their hometown or college/university.
    6. Have not been a previous member of any Allstate Good Works Teams.
    7. Free of any felony charges or criminal activity.

    Most importantly, candidates should be actively involved with charitable organizations, service groups and/or exhibit extraordinary devotion to a personal cause in their lives. They should display sincere concern, reliability and make a favorable impact on the organization or activity in which they are involved.

    Eligibility Requirements

    1. Nominating institutions must be a paid NACDA member in any division (NCAA Division I, II, III, Junior/Community College or NAIA).
    2. Nominations must be submitted by a staff member of the athletics department, the member institution, or the conference.
    3. Nominations can be submitted for up to one male and one female student-athlete for each winter sport sponsored by the institution. A new form should be submitted for each individual student-athlete with the appropriate information.
    4. Nominations must be submitted using this form. Other formats will NOT be accepted.

    NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 8 p.m. EST.

    Please note: Student-athletes who are ultimately selected to the Good Works Team will be offered an NIL deal on behalf of Allstate as part of the recognition, although acceptance of the deal is not required for the award. More information will be provided to the nominator directly once their student-athlete is selected to the final Good Works Team.

    By initialing below, I represent and warrant that:  

    i. The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (“NACDA”) and Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate”) (collectively “Licensee”) are granted a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use (1) any photos/videos I provided along with this nomination form and the name of the institution that the student-athlete nominee attends, along with its logos, trademarks, and official apparel ("Licensed IP") and (2) the name, image, and/or likeness of the student-athlete nominee, in any marketing/promotional materials related to the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, in any format or media so chosen by Licensee, should the student-athlete nominee be selected to the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team; and 

    ii. On behalf of the institution listed in this nomination form, I have the right and authority to license or sublicense the Licensed IP to Licensee for the above-referenced purpose, and warrant that neither the Licensed IP or Licensee’s use of the Licensed IP, infringes, violates, or misappropriates the rights of any third party. Institution shall indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Licensee, its affiliates, and its respective employees and agents from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, demands, complaints, actions, lawsuits, findings, determinations, damages, fees, judgments, settlements, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees) that arise out of or in connection with the above-described use of the Licensed IP and the name, image, and/or likeness of the student-athlete nominee.
