  • NACDA U will provide the means for 100 athletics directors to attend both the 2025 NACDA Spring Symposium (April 13-15, 2025 - Charleston, S.C.) and/or the 2025 NACDA & Affiliates Convention (June 8-11, 2025 - Orlando, Fla.) through a $1,000 professional development grant. Please use the form below to apply and indicate whether you would like to be considered for a grant to attend the Spring Symposium, Convention, or both events.

    The deadline to apply for these 2025 grant opportunities is Monday, January 6, 2025. Applicants must be current NACDA dues paying members to be considered.

    The grant will be managed on a reimbursement basis to the recipient’s institution at the conclusion of the event (grant funds cannot be reimbursed to the individual) and will allocate $1,000 per event for registration and travel expenses. For planning and budgeting purposes, you will be notified of your selection as a grant recipient prior to the event registration launch.

    (Please note: If you have previously been selected as a NACDA U recipient in the past, you are still encouraged to apply as previous selection does not prevent you from being selected again.)

  • NACDA U will provide the means for 150 senior-level administrators to participate in the enhanced 2025 NACDA Senior Administrators Mentoring Institute through a $1,000 professional development grant. This comprehensive program will include the traditional two-day event in conjunction with the NACDA & Affiliates Convention (June 11-12, 2025 - Orlando, Fla.) and an additional fall meeting September 28-30, 2025 in Cleveland, Ohio. 

    Administrators MUST utilize the application below and be selected to participate in the Mentoring Institute. The deadline to apply for the NACDA U grant opportunity to participate in the 2025 Mentoring Institute is Monday, January 6, 2025. All applicants must be current NACDA dues paying members to be considered. 

    The grant will be managed on a reimbursement basis to the recipient’s institution (grant funds cannot be reimbursed to the individual) and will allocate a total of $1,000 to be used to support the individual's involvement in the Mentoring Institute program (summer and fall combined). For planning and budgeting purposes, you will be notified of your selection as a grant recipient prior to Convention registration launch in February.
