Welcome to Kali K Hair!

An in person consultation is required for new guests or if you live farther away or live out of state please mention that above and we can schedule a virtual consultation. The consultation cannot be on the same day of the actual hair appointment. Consultations are complimentary and last 30 minutes with Kali K.

Pricing is discussed during the consultation. You will be given a minimum and maximum after I assess your hair. Virtual consultations will be given a starting rate as I can't see your hair density and health in person yet.

I require a credit card to hold each reservation. In the event that you have to cancel or reschedule a reservation, a 48-hour notice is required. I understand that emergencies do happen, but out of respect for me please give me the time to refill your spot as many of my services require a full date appointment, especially hair extension installs, corrective color, and blonding sessions. If a 48-hour notice is not given the card on file will be charged $100.

If your appointment is canceled within 24 hours 50% of the service that was scheduled to be performed will be charged to the card on file. No shows are included under this policy and will be charged for the entire amount of the service booked. Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled reservation I will not be able to guarantee that you will receive the full services scheduled. Your card information will be taken after our consultation in Vigaro's privacy safe system.

I do not issue refunds. If you are unsatisfied with your hair I would love to make adjustments for you within 5 days of your original service! I can not perform any redo services if you or another stylist makes adjustments to your hair.

Hair Extension Care Guide

• Wash with sulfate-free shampoo.
• Apply shampoo only to the roots and massage gently around the extensions.
• Apply conditioner to midshaft and ends. Never put conditioner on the bond, tape, or weft that holds the extension on your head.
• When you’re done, showering, blow dry the bond, tape, or weft that holds the hair in first before brushing aggressively on the hair. If you do need to detangle the hair a little bit before blow drying, make sure to hold the hair in your hand and then brush, so there’s no tension put on the place where the extensions are attached.
• Make sure to always completely dry the place where the extensions are attached even if you want to let the rest of your hair air dry.
• Sleep with your hair in a braid to prevent tangling.
• Make sure to brush your hair morning and night, and throughout the day if necessary. Because of the additional hair in your head, there is a chance it will need to be brushed more. I keep a small brush in my purse.
• When your hair is dry, apply oil to the midshaft and ends daily to keep the extensions in good condition.
• Use a hair mask at least twice a month or more. When using the hair mask, do not apply it to the area where the extensions are attached; put it in your mid shaft to ends.
• When swimming make sure to read your hair before getting it completely wet.
  Do not let sunscreen touch your hair, it will discolor the extensions.
  Make sure to use heat protectant when styling.
• Use a boar bristle brush.
