KCSCP Call for Artists

We are accepting exhibition proposals for 2026 through the end of March. However we are currently needing to fill the March-April slot immediately. While we don't like to dictate what artists can submit we also want to remind artists that this is a commercial space on loan to us so imagery needs to be family friendly.
There is currently no specified deadline, however we are currently looking for an exhibition ready to show for March - April. Exhibitions are 2 months in duration. If you wish to show in March - April please submit immediately.

Applications must be of original work, with possible current pieces completed in the last two to three years, unless it's work that has never been exhibited. Selected exhibitions will be scheduled between January – December 2026.

Submit 10-15 images of the work you wish to exhibit. The space can hold up to 40 pieces depending on size. Larger works will mean fewer pieces. So we will be looking for a full series of 30-40 pieces.

We will not accept AI. All works must have been made with lens based tools and photographic designated processes. Old processes, archival pigment prints, c-prints, silver gelatin, etc. All works should be framed with glass or thick clear acrylic, unless the piece is of a material that prevents framing. Such as fabric, metal etc. Thin plastic sheeting in place of glass distorts and disrupts the work. Wired, D-ringed, or sawtooth hangers will be fine.

Artists will be responsible to follow all deadlines for inventory sheets (a google sheet will be provided-we use this to create the tags), delivery, artist's reception and talk, and pick up.

We will cover electronic media and provide you with a file you can share via email and social media.

Once you are accepted, you may be asked to provide additional materials as needed for press releases, announcements.
