    Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is proposing an update to its Major Service Change Policy to include language addressing fare media and payment systems. This update clarifies how changes to fare payment methods may be evaluated under KAT’s Title VI policies. This update does not change current fares or service levels. KAT welcomes public comments regarding the proposed policy update. This comment form is provided as part of Knoxville Area Transit’s Title VI public participation process, conducted in accordance with the Federal Transit Administration Title VI Circular 4702.1B. Comment Period is March 13, 2026 - April 11, 2026.
