    Float = a self driven (propelled) unit Motor Unit = a vehicle or pulled display

    • Separation between Senior & Junior is 12 years of age. If unit includes persons both above & below this age, the selected division applies to the majority of the participants.

    • Clean-up crew is required for all equestrian units!

    • The Kent Cornucopia Days Parade Committee reserves the right to place entries into the parade line-up for overall parade design. We also reserve the right to re-classify entries if necessary (in event of this, the Parade Chair will coordinate with you).

    • Publicity Information

      In addition to announcements at the review stand, the parade will be televised.
    • Below, please provide a description, as well as any special appearances or awards, etc. This information will be used by the Parade Announcer. No more than 50 words please. 

    • In consideration of acceptance of this application, the Sponsor, Sponsoring Organization and Person in Charge named herein, and of the unit participants, their children, heirs, executors and administrators agree to save and hold harmless the Officers, Members, Employees and Agents of Kent Cornucopia Days, the Kent Lions, the Kent Lions Foundation, the City of Kent, Seafair and the Seafair Parade Marshals from any loss or damage to person and/or property caused by the operation and/or the applicant's/sponsor's unit/group in connection with Cornucopia Festival activities, and further agrees to defend said persons against any claims from the individual members and participants of the applicant entry extending this agreement, and agrees to provide copies of these individual unit/group participant agreements if and when required by the Kent Cornucopia Days Parade Committee. 

      After May 1, 2026, registration fees will not be returned if there is a cancellation due to war, acts of God, civil disobedience (riots), acts of terrorism, or governmental requirements for closure due to health pandemic or other civil emergencies. Deadline for refund caused by your cancellation is June 15, 2026. 

      Additionally, the applicant agrees they, or their sponsors are fully insured as required by this sanctioned Seafair Parade. Proof of insurance may be required.
