2025-2026 Kenai Chamber of Commerce Scholarship High School Senior Information and Criteria
The Kenai Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee will award scholarships to the Seniors of Kenai Central High School and Nikiski Middle/High School for amounts determined by the Board of Directors. Kenai Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center will award scholarships to no more than four (4) seniors. All scholarships must be claimed by the end of the year they graduate high school or the scholarship will be forfeited (For example; if you graduate in the year of 2026, you will need to claim your scholarship by December 31, 2026.) Scholarship award letters will be mailed late May of 2025 as a notification of their status. The scholarship will ONLY be paid to the institution and awarded after proof of full-time registration is submitted to the Kenai Chamber of Commerce for the school year. Preference may be given to students that are attending college in the State of Alaska or planning to return to the State of Alaska after graduation. Eligibility Criteria:• Minimum GPA of 2.5• Must be a student graduating from Kenai Central High School, Nikiski Middle/High School, or registered with IDEA or Connections Homeschool in the Kenai area at the time of submission. Students are required to submit the following documents along with this application:• An official copy of your high school transcript• At least one Official Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, adviser, or mentor. (Additional letters from within the community are welcome)• 500 Word Personal Narrative Application submission deadline is May 1, 2025 by 5:00PM. Applications must be turned into the Kenai Chamber of Commerce. Incomplete Applicants will not be considered, please submit all items together.
