• 9th District Scholarship - The County Farm Bureau Associations in KFB’s 9th District are granting a $1,000 scholarship to a student from the following counties: Finney, Grant, Greeley, Hamilton, Haskell, Kearny, Morton, Seward, Stanton, Stevens and Wichita.
  • Eligibility:

    • Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or a post-secondary student.
    • Applicant or a parent/guardian must be a current 9th District county Farm
      Bureau member in good standing OR applicant is a current Collegiate Farm
      Bureau member and has graduated from a county in the 9th District.
    • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited technical school, community
      college or college/university for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

     

    Requirements:

    • Complete this on-line application form.
    • Must have maintained a cumulative high school or college Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.
    • Documentation of either high school or college GPA (whichever is applicable)  must be included with the application.
    • Include two letters of reference with application.
    • Preference will be given to those who plan a career in the agricultural industry.

     


    Review & Notification:

    • Applications meeting the eligibility and requirements will be reviewed by a committee of volunteers selected by the field service manager and state board member of the 9th District.
    • All applicants will be notified by April 15, 2026 of the status of their application.
    • The scholarship will be paid in full to the recipient’s college after the start of the fall semester.

     

    Deadline to apply is 5:00 pm March 1, 2026. Late and/or incomplete entries will not be considered.
