“Kansas Farm Bureau (KFB) and KFB’s Foundation for Agriculture are offering grants up to $750 to members interested in attending the Animal Ag Alliance’s Stakeholders Summit in Arlington, Virginia, May 3-5. The convention is a chance to partner with stakeholders throughout the food chain and across commodities, share ideas and form connections that will elevate the farm and food communities in ways that lift everyone, collaborate toward vital progress and learn how you can do your part to help protect, sustain, and advance our entire community. Applications must be submitted by April 10 to be considered.
Members chosen to attend this conference will be responsible for booking and cost of their hotel room, air travel, and all other costs ($1500-$2000). KFB will cover the first $500 of the trip with an optional $250 grant from the Ag Foundation. KFB will register each participant with the registration fee ($385/person) coming from the KFB covered $500 and the remaining and grant amounts being sent to the participant via check.
