The applicant's parent or guardian must have a current membership as of April 1 of the year of application and in good standing with the Rush County Farm Bureau. Membership application and a list of all member benefits are available online at KFB.org or contact Kerri Maneth or the Farm Bureau Office. Rush County membership is $60.00 per year.

The scholarship is available to graduating seniors of La Crosse High School and OtisBison High School who will be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours) at a college or university for the upcoming school year following high school graduation. This one-time, non-renewable scholarship of up to $1000 will be paid to the student upon proof of enrollment.

Include a resume which includes a list all activities (i.e. school, community, work), ACT scores if possible, GPA and any honors received in the past four years.

In an essay of 250 words or less, discuss your goal and objectives for your career and if you have plans to return to the Rush County area.

In an essay of 250 words or less, describe your financial need.

Include a copy of your most current high school transcript.
