 Initial Consultation for Hair Extensions

I appreciate you taking the time to answer a few questions about your hair. This digital consultation is the first step in the journey to the hair of your dreams. To me, there is NOTHING more important than the health and integrity of your hair and scalp. By answering these questions, I am able to better determine which method would best be suited for *you* based off your desired outcome, lifestyle and starting point. Once the digital consultation is completed, we can schedule an in-person consultation to determine the best extension match for you based on desired color, texture, and length.

I am trained and fully certified in a few methods of hair extensions. Like anything else in life one size does not fit all. Offering different methods allows me to fully customize extensions to your individual needs. I continue to further educate myself in both my current methods as well as new ones to provide the healthiest options for everyone.

 

The method I use most frequently is weft / hand tied extensions. I find this method to be the most versatile, customizable and the least potentially damaging. There are no glues, adhesives, or tapes involved. The weight of the extensions is evenly spread through the entire length of the weft via beads and string so there is no need to worry about excessive tension which can lead to breakage.

 

Hand Tied extensions are lightweight, secure, and balanced. This method ensures comfort, discretion, and flexibility in styling. You can even wear your hair up from the first visit! The hair I use is high quality, high density, remy, silicone/filler free, ethically sourced human hair. Unlike most extensions, these are available in a variety of textures from silky straight, beach waves, curly and coily.

 

Pricing for extensions varies widely based on your individual needs. Exact pricing will be determined during your in-person consultation. The length of extensions ranges from bob length to just below your waist. Below you can find an estimate of what to expect for pricing for your first visit. The low-end represents adding density, high-end represents extra length and density.

 

bob length - $800 -  $2200

mid back - $1000 - $3200

lower back - $1500 - $3500

below waist - $2400 - $7000

 

All pricing includes custom coloring of the extensions (to ensure a seamless blend), shampoo, installation and blending of extensions and a blowout.

 

 

The health of your hair and scalp is of the utmost importance to me. To ensure extensions will not be harmful to you in any way I reccomend having a dermatologist check your scalp to make sure you are a good canidate for hair extensions. The last thing I want to do is potentially cause more harm.

Please send me two pictures of your hair, one of the front and one of the back. These are for my eyes only so I can determine our starting point.

 

Instructions:

To get the most accurate representation (please have a friend take your from the back pictures) in natural shaded light making sure to show your entire head of hair from roots to ends.

Pricing & Maintenance

 

First Time Guests:

Your exact pricing will be determined during your complimentary in person consultation. This should only take 20-30 minutes of your time. During this consultation I will match your haircolor, determine the needed length and texture for your final result. I also check to make sure that your hair and scalp are healthy and a good candidate for extensions. The exact pricing takes all of these factors into consideration.

 

The first time prices include the purchase of your hair, custom color matching if needed, installation, blending and styling. You will also receive a guide on how to maintain and care for your extensions to prolong their life.

 

You can find a rough estimate of pricing below. The lower end is providing more volume to existing length, higher end is goal length and volume.

Exact pricing will be determined during the in-person consultation.

 

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your initial appointment.

This deposit is applied to the overall balance of your appointment, it is NOT an additional fee.

 

 

In salon Maintenance:

 

Reinstallation every 6-8 weeks

Replace hair every 6-12 months

We will go over the details of this during the in-person consultation.
