PARADE LINE-UP

Line-up begins at 11:30 AM. If your entry is being judged, check-in at 16th & Central Avenue no later than noon. All other entries need to be checked in by 12:30 PM. Parade begins promptly at 1:00 PM.

JUDGING AND AWARDS

Awards will be given in the following categories:

BEST OVERALL
2nd PLACE OVERALL
3rd PLACE OVERALL

PARADE ROUTE

The parade begins at 16th Street & Central Avenue and runs east on Central to 6th Street. The parade will turn right (south) and continue along 6th St. to 1st Corso. At that point, bands will be released to go straight on 6th St. to their buses. Floats, vehicles, and walkers will turn right again onto 1st Corso, now heading west. From there, floats, vehicles, and walkers are dismissed.

BANDS

In an effort to keep the parade moving, there will be NO STOPPING allowed in front of the judges along the parade route.

It is helpful if you have an identifying banner at the beginning of your band, but it is not required.

You must keep the gap between your band and the entry before you to less than 1/4 of a city block. NCTC reserves the right to ask bands not to return if the issue of too much gap is repeated from year to year.

Detailed line-up information will be sent via email the week of the parade.
The AppleJack Committee reserves the right to refuse any parade entry.

CANDY IS NOT TO BE THROWN ON THE STREET. TOSS CANDY INTO THE CROWD ON THE SIDEWALK. THIS WILL PREVENT YOUNGER PARADE VIEWERS FROM ENTERING THE PARADE ROUTE ITSELF.
