Event Information & Guidelines

Please read the following important details about the event and vendor requirements. Payment and Registration indicates that you agree to follow all guidelines as set forth by WEC and Union Co Farmers Market. Non-compliance will result in immediate expulsion from the event.
WEC Family Resources Artisan Market May 8th and 9th 2026

Handcrafted / Homegrown Artisan Market: Registration Form Register as a vendor and reserve your space. Please review the event information and guidelines below before proceeding.
Event Details:-

Date: Friday, May 8th (8am to 5pm) and Saturday May 9th (8am to 3pm)

Location: Union County Farmers Market

Guidelines:

Setup begins May 7th (Thursday) at 4pm.

All vendors must comply with event safety and cleanliness policies.

Covered and non-covered rental spaces are available. Spaces are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment is required to confirm your reservation.-

Space Rental: Please specify the number of spaces you want to rent. Each space is $50.

Rental spaces are approximately 10' by 16' feet in size.

You may request your preference for covered or non-covered space. The organizer will do their best to honor your request. You will receive an email within 24 hours of your registration regarding whether your preference can be granted. Refunds will not be granted if we are unable to honor your request for a covered vs non-covered space.
Vendor Information:*
This is a part of a larger event / fundraiser held yearly by WEC Family Resources. Also included are a large Yard Sale and BBQ. 

Vendor set up time begins Thursday afternoon at 4 pm. All vehicles and trailers must be off of the parking lot by 7:30 am Friday morning. In order to protect the safety of customers we request that you do not drive on the parking lot during event hours. 

Union County Sheriff's Office will be patrolling the area over night. If you plan to stay in town, please note that overnight camping at the Market is not permitted. Please make arrangements for lodging elsewhere.

IMPORTANT: Union Co Farmers Market does not allow for nails or screws to be used on the poles. 

Break Down: 
PLEASE DO NOT break down early, even if you have sold out! Breaking down early gives the appearance that the market is winding down and people hesitate to come over. This does a disservice to your fellow vendors. Remember this is a two-day event, so plan accordingly with your stock. If you sell out early, it’s a great time to meet new folks, take pre-orders and hand out business cards! 

The booth spaces are a 10’ x 16’ area. Vendor supplies all tents/weights (we are on an asphalt parking lot so tents must be weighted!), tables and display items. Please bring your own power source as we cannot promise electricity will be available. Generators are not allowed as we are in too small of an area for the fumes. Vendor spaces are assigned by our event coordinators. Vendors will be responsible for all of their own trash. Please leave the area as you found it! 

We operate on the Golden Rule and ask that you treat others, whether vendors or guests with the same professional attitude, respect and kindness that you expect. We are a family event, no profanity, drugs or alcohol permitted. No smoking or vaping on premises please. 

Liability: Appalachian Area Crisis Pregnancy Center, Inc., Union County Farmers Market and other businesses on property, volunteers and coordinators assume no responsibility for loss or damage to property or person from any cause whatsoever. 

I agree to release AACPC, Inc., and all mentioned above from any responsibility, personal liability loss, loss or damage to goods or person in connection with this event. I have read and agree to abide by all vendor guidelines and accept all liability conditions above.
We reserve the right to decline vendor participation if their products do not meet our handcrafted and homegrown standards and specifications. If a vendor is declined participation due to their products not meeting these specifications, their registration fee will be refunded.
