VISION TRIP II: Exploring the Civil Rights Trail, students will be able to learn and be aware of the history and the various issues revolving around the civil rights movement, especially on race, ethnicity, education, and how students of that generation were able to make an impact to the community and to the nation. We will also be visiting many different churches and communities to see and be inspired by how others are serving and impacting their communities. Locations will consist of Robert Russa Moton Museum, National Museum of African American History and Culture, International Civil Rights Center, Center for Civil and Human Rights, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birth Home, Center & Historical Park, Corner’s Outreach & Action Ministries, North Point Church, and more.
