• Emergency Funding Request

    • Emergency Assistance must meet an immediate and sudden expense that would inhibit a Cypress College student from being or staying enrolled in classes.
    • This assistance is not a form of financial aid.
    • A minimum of 6 completed units at Cypress College is required to be eligible for Emergency Assistance.
    • Funding is determined on a case-by-case basis and if approved, can be either a zero-interest loan or a grant.
    • We are unable to fund requests for housing.
    • You will be required to provide the name and Cypress College email address of a staff or faculty member who is familiar with your situation to be contacted regarding your request. Please be sure to speak with them prior to submitting this form.
    • If your request is for fees owed to the college for the current semester, please first utilize a payment plan with the college. Information available at the link here. For questions concerning these payment plans, please contact the bursar's office at:

  • Funding is typically extended to students who demonstrate academic progress. If you have not completed any units at Cypress College, your application will likely be denied.
