Eligibility & Contestant RequirementsThe Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Pageant welcomes contestants of all races, colors, religions, and national origins. The following requirements apply to all age divisions and titles at all times:
Contestant must reside in zip codes 60044, 60045, or 60035, or attend a school in Shields Township.
Contestant must attend all required pageant practices and participate in every phase of competition, including:
Pageant interview
Daywear portion with a planned speech
Formal wear portion with an on-stage question
Contestant must be single, never married, and never had a marriage annulled.
Contestant must not be pregnant or have a child.
Contestant must never have been arrested, charged with, or committed a crime.
Contestant must not consume alcohol or use tobacco/smoking products while competing for a Lake Forest–Lake Bluff title.
Contestant must demonstrate good judgment online and in text communications, including social media platforms (Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.):
No profanity or inappropriate photos/posts
No reposting, retweeting, liking, or sharing inappropriate content from others
No bullying of any kind
Crowned 2026 queens must sign the Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Community Pageant Contract, agreeing to all outlined expectations.
Any contestant found to be in violation of these requirements will be immediately disqualified from the 2026 Lake Bluff–Lake Forest Pageant.
